COVID-19 Update (20200403)
Dear NCVAA members,
In response to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the safety of our members as well as the community at large, the NCVAA leadership, with the support of the NCVAA Board and the Organizing Committee, has made a difficult decision to cancel our 2020 annual conference, scheduled for New York City this October.
I know this is a disappointing decision for many of us, but I believe it is the right one.
Rest assured that I and the Board will continue to monitor the progress of the pandemic, and have begun to discuss possible alternatives, including virtual options. There will be many considerations going forward, and we hope that you will understand that any discussion at this point is fluid, in light of the current crisis.
To that point, please join me in applauding our Organizing Committee for its tireless efforts in planning the 2020 Conference, as well as any work that will take place over the next few months.
Regardless of what will transpire, I and the Board look forward to meeting up with all of you in person for the 2021 NCVAA Annual Conference.
In the meantime, we will continue to keep you fully informed of developments and will continue to provide updates.
Be well and safe.
Chinh H. Pham
NCVAA President 2019-2020
