The National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys held its inaugural event on November 19, 2010 in Los Angeles, CA. NCVAA is the first ever national Vietnamese American bar association. NCVAA grew from over six years of network-building efforts by Vietnamese American attorneys nationwide, including ad hoc NCVAA conferences. We promote the professional development of individuals and support legal issues to the Vietnamese American community.
NCVAA is pleased to announce that the 10th Annual Conference will be held on October 14-15, 2016 in San Jose, California, where the inaugural conference was held in 2006. We are honored to have the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California co-host the 10th Annual NCVAA. The conference provides an opportunity for attendees to network with attorneys, members of the Judiciary, prominent legal scholars, jurists, and law students from all over the nation.
The mission of the National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys (NCVAA) is to promote the education and professional development of Vietnamese Americans in the legal community, to support research and education on legal issues of significance to the Vietnamese American community, and to provide a national network for Vietnamese American attorneys to exchange ideas relating to the legal profession. NCVAA seeks to promote and support the local Vietnamese American bar associations in the United States. As part of its mission, NCVAA may collaborate with other Asian American groups on issues that affect our members and our community. NCVAA members will commit ourselves to the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct.
