2024 National Conference Scholarship Application
The National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys (“NCVAA”) is pleased to announce the 2024 National Conference Scholarship in the amount of $2,500.
NCVAA’s annual Scholarship seeks to recognize students who have demonstrated a commitment to serving the needs of the Vietnamese-American community. All current law students enrolled in an ABA- or state-accredited law school are eligible to apply.
Selection criteria for the annual Scholarship include: demonstrated leadership in the Vietnamese-American community; community service or public interest work servicing the Vietnamese-American community; and/or demonstrated interest in Vietnamese-American civic issues. Priority consideration will be given to applicants exhibiting the greatest levels of financial need.
The 2024 National Conference Scholarship will be presented at the 17th Annual NCVAA Conference in Chicago, Illinois on July 26-27, 2024. The Scholarship recipient will receive a complimentary registration and is strongly encouraged to attend the Conference.
Applicants must submit:
1) Most recent law school transcript;
2) Resume; and
3) 500-word maximum personal statement on the following topic:
How have you previously served and/or how do you plan to serve the Vietnamese-American community? Your response should illustrate your interest in and commitment to working on behalf of the Vietnamese-American community and may also include why you believe community service/public interest work is important or relevant to the Vietnamese-American community.

After submitted Scholarship materials are reviewed, Scholarship finalists will be selected to participate in the interview stage during May 2024. The Scholarship winner will be notified by May 31, 2024.
